Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart and best friend of 16+ years, a mother to our 5 incredible children, and lover of all things creative and artistic.
Most of all, I am saved by grace through Jesus.
Fun Facts:
I love camping and even more so in the fall – My mind thinks I need coffee anytime I leave my house – I love vacations and travelling, but my favorite part is time with family and no obligations to everyday tasks – My biggest dream has always been to be a mom – The Dear America book series made me fall in love with historical fiction as a kid – I’m easily convinced to take on a new crafting hobby that I 100% don’t have time to do – Brunch dates are my favorite: Coffee, omelets, Graham… all things I love – I enjoy visiting the city, but am always happy to come back home to the country – My go-to movie is Sweet Home Alabama
Writing
I have always had a love for children’s books and especially love a great story combined with captivating illustrations.
God has filled my mind with fun stories this past year, and I’ve decided to put pen to paper, or more accurately fingers to keyboard, and share these stories with others.
I love putting the stories in my head on paper and figuring out ways to make that story more charming and interesting. Getting to create a whole little world or space where this story takes place, envisioning what it looks like and feels like is so much fun.
The main thing I hope to accomplish through writing is giving my children and others a better understanding of who God is and how much He loves them.
